The Phelps family is right. God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah as a warning to future generations. Do you silly people think that America is so special that God won’t destroy America for doing the same things??? Get a brain! REPENT! Perhaps God will have mercy on you.

When Phelps and his fanatics visited Provincetown several years ago,our response was quiet ridicule .However, it was deemed necessary that they be protected from US. If anything, the straight members of the town were even more outraged than the gay folk (we’re used to loonies!)

Well done CarolineSF from Lowell High School, your entry made me laugh so hard I almost cried! Not only is it wonderful that your students made a stand in an original and peaceful way, but whilst doing so you managed to raise money to support the very causes these hateful WBC people were protesting against is priceless. Very creative.

Reagan, and Bill O’Reilly , and rush Limbaugh deserve to be bashed. they are so racist that its not even funny, but in other regards this idiot is wrong.
and i guess nothing we say will stop that. (and if you don’t know your politics dont argue about Reagan) PLEASE DON’T!! in any case Karma over rules everything, and this old fart is near the end of his rope, (don’t get me wrong i like old people, just not this dude). if anyone knows a way of stopping this fool please let me know, So i can spread the word. It’s unfortunate that what WBC does puts other Christain groups in a bad light. We are not like him. my cousin ( who has passed away) was gay and it didn’t bother me at all. WBC needs to get a life.

Lowell High School students wore yarmulkes to school and held an Israeli folk dance party in the school’s front courtyard today as the Phelps folks picketed across the street starting around 3 p.m. Groups of students from other high schools arrived, carrying signs and wearing T-shirts with peace slogans, as their schools ended for the day. (And I and another middle-aged PTSA mom played Jewish music on our accordions on the sidewalk.) A good time was had by all, except probably for the sad, disturbed Phelps clan, or is it Klan. Oh, and also, the Phelps-a-thon raised $900 for Lowell High Schools’ Gay-Straight Alliance.
